Coyote cookies!

Okay, they are really not for the coyotes, but they are good for the men!!
My Grocery day part two may have to wait till tomorrow for a few reasons:
1. There is a 24 hour coyote hunt tonight (it goes from 7 pm today till 7 pm tomorrow) and I made cookie bars and a few snacks for Phil to take. Well he came home to get those snacks and now a few of the other guys are wanting him to switch teams so they can eat the cookies. There are about 15 teams each made up of 3 brave souls (brave because it is gonna be a cold one!) So I decided I would solve that problem by making another big batch of cookie bars. Phil has 2 teams he could be on, so two batches should be enough for 6 men. We'll see!
2. Right after I pull those from the oven, I need to go drop them off in town and pick up my girls from dance. From town I am headed out to my little sister and her husband's house. The sweet things asked us to come over for dinner. Usually we are the hosts and I just couldn't say no.
3. I have been saying I was going to share this cookie recipe for so long...really you won't be disappointed. Every single cookie is so soft. There are no crispy edges and you only have to bake once!! So my dilemma is that I only have time to post one thing, and through thoughtful consideration, I have chosen to bless you with this cookie recipe and not burden you with pictures of us loading a million groceries into my car and unloading them into my home and my mountain of groceries taking up my living room floor...until tomorrow. Aren't I nice? ;)
I do mine in my kitchen aid and I cook in my 15x10 inch pampered chef stone, but it will work in any pan and with any mixer. Although, if you are going to use a smaller pan, use two...you want the dough to come up halfway on the edge. They rise quite a bit. This is a doubled recipe, so you can cut it in half. So here it is:
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE BARS
4 1/2 cups flour
2tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup butter (softened)
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
2tsp vanilla
2 cups chocolate chips (or more if you'd like)
Add to your mixture in this order...butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, baking soda, salt, flour and finally chocolate chips. Give it a little time to blend well between each ingredient. Lightly spray your pan with cooking oil and add the whole mixture. Press with hand to flatten.
Bake at 350 about 12 -15 minutes.
Enjoy!

Oohh...looks like your man is the "popular guy". You know that is what Proverbs 31 says:

"Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land."

Sitting with elders...sitting with men on an all night coyote hunt...same thing! :)

Your husband is known because you are a proverbs 31 woman!!!!

Oh and my sweet tooth says that I will definitely be making these.
