For most who know me know that I am a CLEAN FREAK! I love order and systems, schedules and routines however, every once in awhile God gives me a glimpse of chaos to remind me of what is important in life. Sometimes the "not so pretty" moments in our lives are the ones that change our lives. Sometimes we shine the brightest after we have been drug through the mud. God is reminding me today to:
(James 1:2-4)
"Count it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have it's perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."

Where we are right now, we are because we have purpose here. The trials we are going through may show no signs of relief, but we are to count it all joy. Am I going to drag my feet through my battle, or am I going to put on my big girl panties, and get dirty! This girl can scrap! Just Kidding (sort-of)!! I want to be an over comer, and go through my trials knowing that God has already givin me the victory and that even though it might get ugly, God is God, and He is in control!
Oh yeah,
and as for the picture...while we were in Montana, I can't remember what we were doing, but we were all outside. All of the sudden I realized that Ezra and Isabelle were missing (Ezra missing is always a very bad thing) After frantically screaming, "Hide all scissors!" (remind me to post of Isabelle's haircut someday) I found them, they were playing in this mud puddle. Literally laying in the middle of it, throwing it etc. etc. Needless to say, this is a big no no for the clean freak's kids, so as I prepared my lungs for the holler of the century...a thought crossed my mind. I slowly let the air out of my lungs, smiled at my now wide eyed "guilty" children and in my sweetest voice told them to, "go ahead and continue playing as much as you'd like...I will go get the camera" So happily we took a few pictures and everyone got a kick out of the very messy event.
You do know there is more to the story right! My favorite pictures are the ones of us hosing them off...that Montana mountain water was a bit chilly! You may think I am mean and nasty, but my children have had no other mishaps with a mud puddle since! Ah, the bliss of life lessons!
