Labor Day Weekend

I know...very scary pictures!! Abraham has been saving, since we moved here to Montana, to buy a Chipmunk 17 rifle! He was supposed to save half and dad would match it. Well, much to my dismay...he did it!! Thankfully, of all our children, he is the one who has the most respect for human life ;)
Over Labor Day, Phil, my brother and my step dad took the boys prairie dog hunting. They did fabulous and everyone came home with all their limbs intact!
Then, on Monday, we usually take dinner to the firefighters, but in our small town, they are all volunteer and there is really nowhere to take it...So, our family took dinner to my brother's boss. He is a bachelor and usually eats microwave dinners. It was such a blessing to us to see that our work was enjoyed! I would encourage all you cooking gals, as a family, to take dinner to someone who lives alone...I have a feeling most don't eat all too well and I'm sure would appreciate a home cooked meal!
We all made it through the weekend alive and are excited to start a new week!

Oh Rossie, you are such a good momma! I feel the concern you have, but thankfully you have such wonderful examples to teach your little boys about "manly" things!
What a blessing to take a meal to a single person. I know someone at Miguel's office who is alone. We will have to try that!!!
