Homeschool Article

Wow...when I read something like this, two things I think of:
1. I am so glad I live in a place I can freely home school.
2. How humbling to see how devoted and committed some parents are to home school.

I live in Germany and 4 of my 8 kids are going to school. My oldest son has such a horrible time at school but we are not allowed to homeschool. Our third son is the first to get a place at a private school when he leaves primary school. But for a family of 10 it isn´t easy to manage that financially. But we are really happy that we can send him to a christian privat school.
How I would love the opportunity to homeschool!! The kids come home from school every day and tell about yelling teachers and drinking and drug taking kids. You have to watch their homework and very often you have to repeat the whole lesson because the teacher was only shouting. There are nice teachers but I would love to have my kids at home the whole time. So you are really happy. I know some days are hard and you won´t get done anything (like Tara posted today)but you have your loved ones by your side. You can teach them what matters to you and that´s more than just maths and history. It´s character training and love for each other and the Lord.
Be blessed and all the best for sweet little Canaan. He is such a cutie. Love Nicole
