My Gabby Girl went to her first dance compition and without me. It is her first time leaving us overnight except when Canaan was in the hospital. Canaan hasn't been cleared by the dr. to make such a long trip, so we had to stay home for this one. Thankfully her Nana is her dance instructor, or we would not have felt comfortable letting her go.
There were lots of tears with her leaving both from her and also from the rest of us ;( She is such a dear sweet girl. She had letters for all of us when we woke up this morning and she had divided $9.00 up between her siblings so that they could get a treat while she was gone!! It will be a fun special trip into town to let the kids "shop" while she is away. I'd say a little something special should be waiting for her when she returns!!
I love to see how bonded my kids are to one another! They are best friends....is it bad for me to like them to cry when one has to leave us?
Go Gabrielle! We are thinking of you, praying for you and we are so proud of you!! Can't wait for you to come home!!
