I just noticed this "real" dinner bell outside the kitchen window of our new house!! Thought it was pretty cool and would make for a good backdrop for a family mealtime read!!

We have a "Table Talk" jar that we pull out every now and then. In it are questions that the kids have asked or ones that we think will be a fun, interesting or important topic that we can discuss as a family at mealtime.
What do you do to encourage family meals together? What do you discuss? Do you eat every meal as a family or just dinner?

My 5 kids love to play the Family Dinner game...we got ours at the Learning Express Store...My 13 yr old daughter had a sleepover with 5 of her friends. I cooked dinner for them and we played that game for almost 2 hours! Great memories! ~DIANA
