Two of the best routines we have in our day that help keep our house
cleaning maintained are:
#1: 10 minute pickups...we do 2 a day (This is
in addition to our morning morning chores and jurisdictions). I give
each family member, myself included, an area to pick up and put
away...our house ends up nearly clean in ten minutes. We do this before
nap and before daddy gets home ...a little tip also for
when you are visiting someone's home is to say, "Everyone find 10
things to pick up and put away." For us that is 60 things!! I never want
anyone to be left with the aftermath of the Ansolabehere tornado!!
#2:
Table chores...each family member is assigned one thing to do after
everyone is finished eating (these remain the same everytime so that no
one is unsure of their job after each meal)...kitchen cleanup is a
breeze!!
EVEN BETTER:
Sometimes all we need is a better perspective...Change the name "Chores"
to "Acts of Service" after a devotional time about serving your family
and blasting a little Praise and Worship music during this time in the
morning = we are off to a FABULOUS start on the day!! Lord...keep us
going!! ;) ♥ ♥
