The whole process starts with chopping...LOTS of chopping:
We've got, pork, chicken, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, ginger, garlic, cabbage, onion, bean sprouts, zuchinni, mushrooms. You name it...it was probably in there!!
And yes, we had a master chef...his name was Jimbo!! ;)
Jimbo's sidekick:
Nana
And then we have Smarty Farty whom thought if she stuffed her nose, the onions wouldn't make her cry. HA!! Boy was she wrong!! ;)
Dump it all in the pot and cook it up!!
We have some brave ones...
and some not-so-brave ones!
Seal those bad boys up with some starch water!!
Fry 'em!!
And then......
You get to reap the reward!! About 200 eggrolls divided up among the 15 or so people that were here to help!!
YUM
All in a good day...literally (it took nearly all day)!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! This looks a whole lot like a tamale making session at our house. Although tamales are a little less healthy. I absolutely love the pictures of your big family. You are so gorgeous, I have to hate you. But just a little bit.
