Daddy

It's so funny how things work. Phil is not really a "baby" kind of guy. He much prefers when the kids are older, go potty in the toilet and can actually voice their needs(which I find rather humorous as I prefer them not speak...after all to me, a screaming baby is much more pleasant than a whining child). He doesn't like to change diapers, and feels like they are going to break if he holds them. All that being said, my babies ADORE him. I bring Sophie in bed with us in the morning and she will not look at me even when I am making all the beautiful coo noises that babies are supposed to love, clicking my tongue and blowing bubbles with mouth. I mean I am pulling out all the stops to no avail. If that girl isn't enamored with the grizzly bear noises coming out of her daddy's nose and his mouth gaping open as if he were singing opera. I guess a daddy doesn't need to win his daughter's affection...it's just a guarantee!

I am so glad you are back at the blogging. It is fun to see and hear about your family in a more day to day fashion. Lets keep in touch here. It is much easier and less time consuming than the phone. Easier to be interuppted than on the phone. KWIM?

Thank you for hosting my hubby the last few weeks. I hope he behaved? He isn't behaving well here. UGH! So is my life I suppose. God gave me my husband as my cross to bear.

Paul loved being able to interact with Sophie baby. He is the opposite of Phil in that regard. Loves the tiny ones more than I do really.
